We have three slate & tile roofing teams and a felt roofing team. All of our roofers are trained with NVQ level 2 or higher and work to very high standards in the Cheshire area.
Roof Surveys
We can offer full roof survey & reports for insurance policy holders to determine any of the following problems:
- Storm damage
- Poor workmanship
- Wear & tear / old age
The report will be backed up by digital photographs & emailed if required. If storm damage is evident a temporary repair can be carried out to stop any further water ingress.

Roof Reports
We can offer a full roof report on properties you may be thinking on purchasing. This is often
overlooked by potential house buyers, but can be costly at a later date, once the house is purchased.
We can inspect leadwork / slates / tiles / the condition of felt & batons / condition of mortar to
ridge & hip tiles / gutters / verges / valleys.
All these areas of the roof could hold problems where previous temporary repairs have been undertaken.
Photographs and a written report will be provided.
Roof surveys are normally carried out within two days of the initial request in the Cheshire area.
Reroof Example in Worsley, Manchester
This job involved:
- Erecting pole & clip scaffold to all four side of the detached property for health and safety reasons.
- The stripping and disposal of existing roofing materials: tiles, batons and roofing felts
- Fix breathable felt membranes to the roof structure using batons>
- Hanging of tiles from the eave-line in regular overlapping courses
- Stepped chimney flashing and apron installation
- New gutters and down pipes
- Replacement ridge tiles, new hip irons and new soffit
